Lauren and I were lucky to get in a few days down in the Florida sunshine (thank you, Mom and Dad Coyne for the JetBlue tickets). We spent the majority of our time in Naples between the beach and "The Club" that Mike's parents have joined. Lauren said she could sure get used to being brought pina coladas and lunch in the cabana every day (who couldn't?).
Our first night was greeted by a perfect sunset at The Ritz beach bar. Lauren then saw a gecko for the first time and decided to take lots of pictures of the little guys. We also got to meet our friends, Kara and Pete, for a great dinner at the new Coconut Mall in Estero.
Mike enjoyed a nice cigar on the lanai after a great BBQ dinner from Michelbob's. Lauren joined in for a few puffs to see what all the fuss is about. Please, save your e-mails -- Mike only has one cigar per year at the most.
We also took a trip with Mike's mom up to Sanibel Island. Lauren and Ellie went shell hunting while Mike tried to find a nice balance between getting some sunshine and protecting his skin from any further damage.
As always, it went by way too fast but the memories will be around for a long time.

Hey Lauren & Mike: Loved your pictures! Isn't it just the perfect life, except for those darn geekos.Do you know if you swat them with a broom, their tail breaks off & they keep running. Tail grows back. Know this because my son-in-law has had one or 5 get into the house. Other then that, its paradise!

I miss those days! Those were all our spots. We get to catch a glimpse of them now and then but don't get to soak in the rays. Hope you all had a great time!
