"Here We Stand"

Well, they're not trying to be modern-day Martin Luthers, but I'm sure his words still ring true. When asked by Rome to recant, Luther said, "I cannot... Here I stand."
The "Today Show" came to Scituate about a month ago and taped this story about the local church in which Mike grew up. St. Francis is a church that has been ordered closed, but the parishioners, including Mike's mom, are fighting to keep it open. This small church in a small town has brought their appeal all the way to the Vatican. In the meantime, here they stand....
