Last Saturday night, I saw The Beatles in concert! Well, actually, it was a tribute band called The Fab Four -- but they were remarkably authentic. A friend took me to the show at The Paramount in Huntington, and I was in my glory. "Paul" even played the guitar correctly (that is, left-handed). "Ed Sullivan" hosted the show and we got to see the band perform, complete with costume changes, showing three different phases of their time together. It was an amazing night, and truly fitting timing as it was the night before The Beatles' 50th anniversary of their debut on The Ed Sullivan Show.
If this was the closest I'll ever get to seeing The Beatles, I'll take it.
