A few weeks ago I caught up with my Massachusetts friend, Alyssa, where we spent the weekend in Mystic, Connecticut. We enjoyed some time in the center of town, which was so charming, and also ate at the restaurant made famous in the movie, "Mystic Pizza." And yes, the pizza was great!
Later that evening, we switched gears and spent a few hours at nearby Foxwoods Casino. I spent nearly all my time on the penny slots, as I'm not a big fan of throwing money away at casinos. I was up and down a number of times and just about broke even for the night. Either way, it provided hours of entertainment and proved to be a really fun night with a great friend!
