Early last month, my closest friends, Jen and Pete, drove up north to visit friends and family. They brought their two adorable boys, Ryan and Aidan, and stayed with me for the week, so I got to spend plenty of time with my friends from down south. (I also got to be a baby hog with Aidan!)
Ryan, like most little boys, is very into dinosaurs now, so we all spent an afternoon in the city at the Museum of Natural History. It was their first family trip to the city, and I was so happy to be a part of it.
Following their week on Long Island, Jen and Pete headed up to Maine to see Pete's family. After spending another week up north, the gang drove back down to New York and stayed with me another night before making their long trek back to North Carolina. That last night was also Jen's birthday, so our dear friend Claudia and her family came over so we could all celebrate. The kids had a great time, but I think the adults enjoyed it even more.
